to Oct 2

Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga Retreat with Sophia Pym, New House Farm Sussex, September 2017

Join East of Eden and Sophia Pym for a 3 day retreat mixing dynamic yoga, yin yoga, meditation walks and optional massages in the beautiful Sussex countryside. There's a heated swimming pool, hot tub and a giant inglenook fireplace to hang out at after the yoga is done, with a glass of red wine, and delicious, organic, healthy food. Sophia Pym will be teaching dynamic, alignment focused but playful, vinyasa flow yoga and also the slower, more relaxing yin yoga to provide a balanced practice. The yoga is suitable for all levels - there'll be progressions for the more advanced practitioners and lots of support if you are newer to yoga. With plenty of time to workshop poses, this retreat is a chance to explore the inner workings of your mind and body and dive deep into your yoga practice.

This 3 day retreat will be held at The Lodges At New House Farm in Etchingham. Just one hour from Central London, The Lodges at New House Farm - a new luxury rural holiday destination - is set in the heart of the High Weald of East Sussex.

It is based around six lodges, in a modern rustic style, all with far reaching views of the High Weald – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Central to The Lodges is a beautiful and extremely spacious, long, communal barn which also includes further accommodation facilities, and a huge kitchen, all designed to cater for large groups.

There is a heated outdoor swimming pool available, with it's own private gardens and terraces, and also a hot tub.

The lodges are set amongst 12 private acres of untouched rolling, rural landscapes. There is a walk along the beautiful banks of the River Rother, plenty of secluded spaces to relax in, wildflower meadows, streams, woodland walks and beautifully kept walled gardens. There are many local public footpaths leading from the property, across endless fields and forests, but the farm itself is entirely private.

They are hidden away at the end of a private lane, spreading from the peak of the south facing Rother Valley down to the banks of the River Rother. Located between Etchingham and Ticehurst, in East Sussex. It is one hour from London by car, or 75 minutes by train from Charing Cross, via London Bridge and Waterloo East stations - all going direct to Etchingham station. They are just 3 minutes drive from the station, or a short walk.

The six lodges each sleep 2-5 people, with comfortable beds, high end personal catering facilities, wood burning stoves, cast iron Victorian roll top baths (not in all lodges), wet rooms as well as TV and entertainment facilities.

£300 for a single bed in the living area of the Stable Lodges (sharing with 1 other)
